After a busy March, it is time to look to April. Many exciting projects are in the works for May, but April has some great things in store with auditions, performances, and workshops from Dancing Wheels Company and School and The Movement Project! Take a look, prepare to dress for any weather (it is April in Northeastern Ohio, after all), and get involved!

Re|Marking at the Detroit-Shoreway Neighborhood in Cleveland: April 30th

This visual and performance art event is something you don't want to miss! This is a Detroit-Shoreway community arts event collaboratively produced by over 22 artists working with the body as subject to explore womanist perspectives. The event is FREE and happening at 78th Street Studio, Gypsy Cafe, Guide to Kulchur, and private spaces on W 50th and W 52nd. There is a guest artist from Chicago presenting and giving workshops on her radical project - Neighborhood Dances. WORKSHOPS:

The Movement Project

1-Day Wellness Workshop Hosted by The Movement Project and Sponsored by University Hospitals Sports Medicine: April 24th

Unfortunately, health and wellness is oftentimes overlooked when it comes to dancers . However, on April 24th, the whole day will be dedicated to mental and physical wellness not only for dancers, but for non-dancers too!

This Wellness Workshop runs from 10am until 2:30pm and includes a yoga class, Pilates class, foam roller class (taught by yours truly), and a wellness seminar by Anna Li-Conrad, a dancer and University Hospitals physical therapist!

Dancers and non-dancers alike are welcome, so take a day off to come to the workshop and take care of yourself!

TMP's Summer Intensive Professional Track Audition at Kent State University: April 22nd

This Professional Track is for dancers 18+ who are interested in furthering their professional work and experience by offering a great setting for personal artistic goals, as well as technique, choreography, resume revamp, dance on film, and more!
