May 2ND & 3RD

CDF | Akron Concert Series is an extension of the Cleveland Dance Fest platform, The Movement Project’s annual 3-day festival featuring artists from Cleveland, across Ohio, the regional Midwest, and beyond. As we continue to look to the future of dance in Northeast Ohio, we are committed to supporting the communities we serve by expanding artist resource support to the Akron community.

Concert Series Schedule

Friday may 2ND - Show 1

7:00 PM - SHOW 1

• Box Office/Lobby Open at 6:15 pm

• Theater Doors Open at 6:30 pm

Show 1 Artists: Dancing Wheels Company, Ohio Contemporary Ballet, Dominic Moore-Dunson/Theron Brown & Artists, The Movement Project, Christine Howe - 2025 Choreographic Fellow, and special guest performance by Akron School for the Arts at Firestone CLC.

Saturday may 3RD - show 2

7:00 PM - SHOW 2

• Box Office/Lobby Open at 6:15 pm

• Theater Doors Open at 6:30 pm

Show 2 Artists: Inlet Dance Theatre, Mojuba! Dance Collective, The Movement Project, Christine Howe - 2025 Choreographic Fellow, and special guest performance by Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts.

To ensure all community members have access to this event, we are offering, Choose-What-You-Pay for all tickets. We have listed a suggested price for the concert series, you may want to pay more or want to pay less, your choice!

All tickets are general admission. Walk up's will most likely be available, however we highly recommend reserving your tickets (including free) ahead of time.

All ticket proceeds go directly to paying artists, the CDF / Akron Concert Series platform, and investing in TMP’s outreach programs at Firestone CLC and Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts. We thank you for your support in making dance a priority in the Akron community.
