  • 10:00 - 11:15 am (Modern/Contemporary)

  • 11:15 - 11:30 am (Q&A session)

*Audition is invitation only. To submit for an invitation, please complete the forms below and a TMP staff member will reach out to you within 24-48 hours/next business day. (audition is free)

Parking: Free lot parking is available (PARKING & ENTRANCE MAP HERE!)

  • Parking & Door Access: Free parking is available in the Giant Eagle parking lot located within a short walking distance to TMP.

    • Open the parking map and follow the parking and walking directions to the back door of TMP. (To get to the back door, you will pass the front door of TMP and take a right down the driveway)

    • TMP is the second door (see our sign on the back door!)

CONTRACT DETAILS

TMP Seasonal Company Member (Performance Contracts)

  • Dates:

    • Feb. 3rd - Jul. 31st, 2025 (Winter/Spring/Summer Contract)

    • May 19th - Jul. 31st, 2025 (Summer Contract)

  • Compensation: Paid positions

    • Seasonal company members receive an hourly rate for rehearsal hours and free company class.

    • In addition, they will receive a performance stipend for

      • CDF | Akron Concert Series on May 2nd & 3rd (for Winter/Spring/Summer Contracts)

      • SummerWorks 2025 (specific dates TBD) (for all contracts)

    • An hourly teaching rate for classes taught during our Summer Intensive.

  • Schedule (must be available during these times, no exception)

    • Mondays: 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

      • 8:30 am Arrival

      • 8:45 - 9:55 am Ballet

      • 10:00 - 11:00 am Modern/Contemporary

      • 11:10 - 1:00 pm Rehearsal

    • Wednesdays: 9:15 am - 1:00 pm

      • 9:15 am Arrival

      • 9:30 - 11:00 am Modern/Contemporary

      • 11:10 - 1:00 pm Rehearsal

    • TMP OFF (Holiday/Break): 5/5 - 5/18, 5/26

    • Location: TMP studio in Fairview Park

  • CDF | Akron Concert Series: May 2nd & 3rd, 2025

    • 2 performances

    • Location: Firestone CLC, Akron Ohio.

  • Summer Intensive: Typically end of July

    • Hires will teach 2-3 days at our annual summer intensive for youth ages 12 - 18 yrs old. (specific dates/times TBD)

    • Location: TBD

  • SummerWorks 2025: Typically end of July

    • Anticipated commitment 2 - 3 days (specific dates/times/schedule TBD)

    • Location: TBD

TMP Seasonal Company Member: Role & Expectations

The Movement Project is actively seeking well-rounded dancers with a wide range of skill sets, including a strong background in modern/contemporary, ballet, composition, and pedagogy. TMP seasonal company members (performance contract) responsibilities include (but are not limited to) rehearsals, technique classes, performances, composition, and teaching. (Full time company members responsibilities include outreach engagements and weekly admin duties/roles)

**Concluding the contract, TMP will hold a contract review with potential for full company member contract offer.

Notification

Next steps: Upon receiving all above materials, TMP staff will reach out within 24-48 hours or next business day on status of invitation. All requests will receive a notification email.

Timeline for filling positions: TMP will notify each applicant by end of day January 13th, 2025 on their application status. (Further discussions and virtual interviews may be held prior to job offers.)
