Gabrielle Miller

Bahamian born and bred dancer, Gabrielle Miller has trained and performed under the tutelage of Dr. Anne Peterson, Dr. and Dr. Marilyn Deveaux. In 2012, Gabrielle won 1st place in the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Competition in the Lyrical Duet Division. In 2016, when she moved to Cleveland, Ohio, she commenced her Hawkins - based modern dance training through an apprenticeship with Elu Dance Company. She was cast in Elu Dance Company's work, "Caught" at Cleveland Public Theater's 2017 Danceworks. Gabrielle has had the pleasure of performing in various works by Erin Berry, Anne Howard (of Levity Dance), Akane Little, Katherine Dyke, Erin Pennebaker and Lauren Holler. She has performed for consecutive years at local events such as Parade the Circle and Station Hope.Gabrielle co-directs a local Afro-Caribbean dance project, "Soursop Stories". Gabrielle enjoys thrifting and watching period films with her husband and small dog.
