Julia Dillard is a dancer, educator, and masters-certified dance/movement therapist. Born in the U.S., she attended college in Singapore and Australia, studying dance, visual arts and communication. She returned to the U.S. for graduate school, earning an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Julia continued her dance training with Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet, Hannah Kahn Dance Company and Evolving Doors Dance in Denver, CO and Inlet Dance Theater in Cleveland, OH. She travels regularly to Tel Aviv for intensive study of Gaga Movement Language with Batsheva Dance Company.

Most recently she performed in the world premiere of The Encounter: Akron by NYC based choreographer Kimberly Bartosik, and Place in Time: Where/How by Ajayi Dance. She has performed as a freelance dancer in Singapore, Israel and the United States.

She currently performs as a freelance dancer in Cleveland, and teaches a community-based movement called Flowstate that supports mental, emotional, physical and social wellness through dance.
